01. Hanoi City & Shopping Tour

Time: 08h30 – 17h00 | Price: 85USD/pax
08h30: You will start our tour with some famous places of Hanoi:
Pick up and drive to the historic complex of Ba Dinh. Visit Ba Dinh Square, where The Late President Ho Chi Minh declared Vietnams Independence on 2 September 1945, Uncle Ho' s House on-stills, HoChiMinh Museum, Outlook of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.

09h45: Continue to the One Pillar Pagoda (closed to the museum), the must- see monument in Hanoi. It is an ancient Buddhist pagoda, built in the early 11th century in the reign of King Ly Thai Tong, all construction supported by only one pillar, resembling a Buddhist lotus.

10h30: Visit the Ethnic Museum (or The Museum of Ethnology), that gives an excellent introduction to the ethnic diversity in Vietnam composed of 54 distinct groups.

12h00: Lunch at the local restaurant

13h30: Continue to drive to visit Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature- Imperial School) built in 1070 during the dynasty of King Ly.

15h00: 45’ minutes Ciclo tour
Continue to the complex of the Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple (Jade), But Tower (Pen- shaped tower), Dai Nghien (Ink Stand), the Red- painted wooden The Huc Bridge ; shopping at Old Quarter (36 ancient wards & streets) and Dong Xuan market (if time permited )
17h00: Back to the hotel. End of service.

When roughly everyone in Hanoi falls asleep, Quang Ba flower market “wakes up”. Visiting this special flower market, visitors can not only enjoy the colorful and fresh beauty of numerous flowers but also learn something about the working life of flower sellers in this night market.

Long Bien Bridge (Vietnamese: Cầu Long Biên), is about 2km from Hoan Kiem Lake, with a history of over 100 years, is not only a traffic construction but also a meaningful historical and symbolic witness to the resilience of Hanoi during the two greatest resistance wars against the French colonialists and American imperialism as well as the dramatic changes of this city in the new era. Do not forget to take a walk on Long Bien Bridge for sightseeing, exploring the local daily life, and enjoying peaceful moments.

At the end of the Tour, we leave the market and head back into Hanoi’s Old Quarter. The sun is up and the streets of Hanoi are awake now, offering plenty of opportunities for colourful pictures of daily life. We’ll find a nice local coffee shop to relax and review our photos

Stroll around to visit distinct food sections with their variety of herbs, vegetables, meat and sea food which brings you very close to the simple life. It is very interesting to see and to learn how a local woman chooses and buys the best quality of the fresh food from numerous food stalls in the market.

Under our chef’s instruction, you might buy some ingredients for our cooking lesson – some herbs and spices (Herbs and spices are a very important part of authentic Vietnamese food)

Admire the skillful art of pottery making at Bat Trang Village. See the process of making ceramic by hand at a family-owned factory before shopping for some of the best ceramics in the area!

Bat Trang pottery market near Bat Trang Ceramic Village is home to hundreds of shops selling ceramics close together. Here, you can find souvenirs or lovely items made entirely of ceramic, both unique and cheap.

We will then transferr to Hanoi Old quarter and take a short walk around the “the 36 meandering streets” of the historic Old Quarter for shopping. Ha Noi’s French Quarter is known for its wide-open streets, majestic buildings and high-end hotels. Enjoy the beauty of historic Ha Noi as you shop from the local merchants.
